Palestinian-Israeli Women's forum: Facing Mutual challenges

The Abraham Center in coordination with The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute in Israel implemented a joint project
(Palestinian-Israeli Women's forum: Facing Mutual challenges)
This project was funded by the American Embassy in Tel-Aviv. Project duration was from Septemper 1999 through july 2000. Fifteen women from each side participated in the project, and the discution topics were titled:
Can tradition empower women? Empoerment-Political and employment , the role of womenin the formation of tomorrow's society etc.
The project was implemented based on two sessions at each side for two days each, two sessions in Israel and the third and forth sessions were conducted in the Palestinian Areas (One in Gaza and the other in west bank)
