It is a project under article 13 of the Socrates program , this program is coordinated by the Nordic folk Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden.

It's partners were , the European Association for Education of Adults (EAEA) and Laszlo Nemeth Central European Folk Academy in Sopron, Hungary.

The New Abraham Center had its first meeting in the steering committee in September 2002 in Gothenburg and both Samira Srur Fadil, the director and Ashraf Hamdouna, the accountant were elected as member of the steering committee. the next meeting took place in sopron Hungary in may 2003 and third meeting took place in a Norwegian folk high school from 14th to 17th of August 2003

The final seminar took place in December 2003 at the Nordic folk Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden.
